Crystal Reports Professional Edition includes all the features in Crystal Reports Standard Edition, plus access to almost any enterprise data source, and an introductory offer of Crystal Enterprise Express Edition.

Crystal Enterprise Express is an out-of-the-box report delivery system ideal for reducing the overhead of delivering reports to small groups and departments. It includes a report publisher and Web portal interface and is recommended for smaller workgroup deployments.

This edition is optimal for customers that need to deliver formatted reports to a small group of users inside the organization.

This special introductory license is restricted to a single standalone deployment of five named user licenses. You cannot deploy the introductory Crystal Enterprise Express five named licenses onto an existing Crystal Enterprise deployment or stack promotional licenses to increase the number of named licenses. Each named-user license must be assigned to a specific individual. As a result, sharing of licenses is prohibited. You may only deploy one report type with Crystal Enterprise Express. To deploy both Crystal Reports (.rpt) and Crystal Analysis (.car) files you will need to upgrade to Crystal Enterprise Professional.
