Crystal Reports XI Essentials - Instructor-based Video Training

I thought this would be easy because these types of learning CD's have been around for years. However, when I tried to load it to my personal laptop with Windows XP Home Edition V5.1 with SP2 and Windows Media Player 11, I had all kinds of issues. First it took over an hour to activate while connected to the Internet (note brief instructions in the CD say it can take several minutes). I had to activate it several times, until I was prompted to install a component for the Windows Media Player. Once I got this installed, I was able to restart and move around the training sections. The training content and presenter is good, but the tool could be made easier to navigate through the sections. There are some other Crystal Reports XI training cds on the Web for around $100. I may actually purchase one of those as well to see if there is anything else I can learn about Crystal Reports. One includes a .pdf of the training, which would be helpful. I give this product a "4" because of the high price and the issues I had getting it up and running. However, it's a much better alternative than sitting in a classroom and paying about four to five times as much money to learn. Plus, when you are actually working on reports, it's nice to have a tool like this to pull up the section and troubleshoot.
