I ordered this around the same time I got my Zelda Skyward Sword bundle. I was worried about the finish of the collectible gold controller, and the rubber sleeve that comes with the remote made it feel clunky and didn't even cover the faceplate from wear and tear very well. This one, however, fits snugly and protects the finish of the remote. The battery door won't be accessible while the hard case is on, but it snaps off just as easily as it snaps on (and you only have to take the back half of the case off, much easier than trying to remove that rubber sleeve, in my opinion).

So, any Zelda gamers out there who want a snazzy case to protect the gold controller, I would suggest this one. It protects well, looks great, and doesn't make the controller feel bulky like the rubber sleeve. Definitely a must for the Zelda Wii MotionPlus controller.
