I have had nothing but trouble since I purchased this transitions 7 CD from CrystalGraphics. They don't tell you that the transitions are only seen by others who have the same PowerPlugs software. If you have a problem saving the transitions to your presentation, that's because the transitions are for your eyes only. When you call to get this straightened out, expect at least a week before they contact you. I called, we talked, and they never resolved my issues nor did they call back. Why buy a transitions CD that works only when you view your presentation and will not save to the presentation? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of a transitions CD program? I wanted to write a review for this product because I create many PowerPoint presentations and this software really is great. Plus the previous review is not true. Anyone can view the transitions effects, whether or not you have the PowerPlugs software (which is also true for all their products- I bought the Ultimate Combo). There is a button that you click on that says "Pack with effects" and then your presentation is ready to view with effects by anyone. It's really simple to use and they have a great selections of pretty cool transitions. I definitely recommend this product. I have to make a lot of PowerPoint presentations, so I've bought many products from CrystalGraphics. PowerPlugs: Transitions is one of my favorites because they have such awesome transitions and way more of a selection than what comes with PowerPoint. The review previous to this is not true either. You do not need the PowerPlugs software to view the transitions. There is a button that says "Pack with effects" and then anyone can view it. It's really simple to use and I recommend this product to anyone who wants to add in some cool effects.
