WARNING: This CD does NOT contain the original Crystals' classics. It contains inferior re-records. Stay away!

This is a RIP OFF - this is packaged to appear as if it is original material but it is not!! It was produced in Canada and is a dupe to sucker you into buying recordings that are not the originals!!
AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE The Crystals, but none of these songs sound familiar. These tracks sound like a demo tape. The fantabulous Phil Spector "wall of sound" is conspicuously absent. Buy something else.

The Crystals - Greatest Hits [Classic World] This is a very disappointing CD. It's of very poor sound quality and the vocals do not sound the same. Upon examining the CD case, I found in very small print "New Stereo Recordings by the Original Artist." Unfortunately, ordering from internet does not allow us to see that before ordering. Until now I've never been disappointed with music ordered through Amazon.

This isn't the Crystals' original versions of these songs. This is ersatz Crystals. Don't buy this.

I wish I could give it minus five stars. It shouldn't even be for sale.

Yup, I got took. I bought this at $8.98. Shame on me, true, but shame on Amazon for not alerting us to the fact that these are not original recordings - sort of the equivalent of musical lead paint. The music isn't bad, really, maybe three stars - and done by the Crystals, true enough - but not the way I remember them - more like Disney does the Crystals.

Out of the many Crystals cd's, this is one of the best! It has their classic "Then He Kissed Me" on it which is awesome. I think it's a great buy!
