Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

The Cstar Optics GO-6450 compact refractor telescope has a special optical system that extends the total focal length to 900mm, greatly increasing the magnification of objects in the night sky--twice the magnification of other telescopes its size.

Specially engineered optics gives a clear image at an affordable price. Multi-coated glass lenses deliver low color aberration. The optics are encased in a seamless aluminum alloy tube, which includes a 5x optical finder scope for low-power scanning. An aluminum yoke mount allows for tiny vertical adjustments.

The telescope comes with a pre-assembled 4-tier aluminum tripod with user-adjustable vertical elevation for more comfortable viewing. The whole kit packs up easily with the included "sponge" padded nylon case and carrying strap. It also comes with a star finder CD-ROM.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cstar GO-Series 60 x 900mm Compact Refractor Telescope with Nylon Carrying Case (Electronics)
My dad got this for me for my birthday. After hours of trying to figure out how to put it toghether, I finished building it. The instructions say not to use it indoors, so we took it outside. The little breeze kept knocking it a few centimeters of course, now when you look at something thousands of miles away, that's very far. We sent it back and got our $100. What a disappointment on my birthday.
