Pretty Bad,

I got this telescope for my desk at work because I have a decent view. It stinks, I think I can see better with my naked eye. Plus you can not focus it because the slider is so stiff. I guess I will be buying another telescope now.

My kids can see better through a toilet paper roll than this "telescope."
Meaning, you can't see a freaking thing through it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My 4 year old wanted a telescope to look at the stars and even though this one was only 20 bucks, I thought we would at least be able to see out the other end. You cant even find what you are looking for, it is dark and blury and you cant see anything looking through it! Dont waste your money on this!

I will probably catch flack for writing a review about a different model, but part of what I use to evaluate a decision to spend money on a product is to find out about the customer service of a company. Maybe you do the same. So here goes (potential flack and all).
I purchased a Cstar 12-36 50mm spotting scope a few months back. Mostly for the bundled camera mount to try some digiscope photography. Quality of the scope was marginal, camera mount was ok with modifications. Maybe a three star value. After a few hours usage, the zoom control began to rotate incorrectly as obviously something inside came loose. Box states "Limited lifetime warranty" with phone number. I figure before messing with problem myself I should send scope into them (along with $10 warranty fee). Look, box even has an 800 number! I have been listening to a very polite voice on an answering machine about a dozen times over the last month informing me that they are sorry they missed my call, but will get right back to me! Left messages with phone, email response requests. Apparently they are too busy to respond. Don't think I'll send my scope and money to folks whose customer service seems unable to "get back with me". Just my two cents about what Cstar calls "Customer Service".

Return back to amazon, and ask for refund. Even though this was for my kid and it is a child's telescope,we could not see anything from it . Not even moon nor stars, all black when you look through peep hole, and does not have a way to adjust it anywhere. Dont buy waist of money and frustrated time consuming moments between you and child, toy not worth it.
