Book Description

Arc Dream Publishing is proud to present the first-ever ebook edition of the legendary Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia by Dan Harms.

"...some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age." --H.P. Lovecraft, 'The Call of Cthulhu'

That day is here. The Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia explains every mind-blasting facet of the Cthulhu Mythos envisioned by H.P. Lovecraft and expanded by countless horror writers and gamers in the decades since the master's death.

From "Abbith" to "Zylac," with in-depth stops along the way for the likes of "Azathoth" and "Yog-Sothoth," the Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia painstakingly pieces together disassociated knowledge of every last Thing Which Man Was Not Meant to Know.

And now it's digital, with a comprehensive linked table of contents and the built-in searchability of e-readers. You will go mad from revelation faster than ever before.

1.0 out of 5 stars I want to give a fair review, but... November 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Kindle version unreadable on my Galaxy S2, surely on other devices, too. All text squeezed into a column only a few characters wide and wasting about 70% of my screen space. Problem not present on other books. I was really looking forward to reading it, and at such a high price for a digital copy I at least expected it to be readable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading information! December 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
There is no table of contents! Despite what the description says this ebook does not support a table of contents. In an encyclopedia with over one thousand pages a table of contents or in book linking is a must. I feel ripped off.

4.0 out of 5 stars Exactly What It Says December 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am unsure why the previous reviewer's screen didn't format it properly, it works on my iPad, Kindle, and Droid. It is a straightforward encyclopedia of H.P. Lovecraft and those who expanded on his mythos' creations. The writing is direct and concise. The only reason I did not give it five stars was due to the lack of hyperlinks when it tells you to reference another entry when a being has multiple aliases.
