Escuche en el día de hoy en "el circo" la entrevista de Tony "El Gangster" y definitivamente no tiene comparación con nadie.

Ella es muy simpática y genuina una de las características de una gran estrella. Las letras de las canciones son muy bonitas y trasmite la música haciéndola realidad.

Una estrella más de Puerto Rico y que Dios la bendiga mucho y que siga llevando ese mensaje positivo y de esperanza.

Definitivamente un disco lleno de mucho amor y aventuras también.

El Cd es fenomenal!!!! Lo oigo y lo oigo y cada vez encuentro algo mas en sus letras. Es como cuando escuchas a Alejandro Sanz, Shakira o Arjona, que siempre tienes que escucharlo varias veces para recibir el mensaje completo. Kany es super talentosa. Estoy loca por que salga el proximo CD!!!!

Por fin, una voz que no se parece a ninguna otra y un sentimiento genuino. Cada canción es una obra de arte. Me encanta la manera que tiene de contar las historias (muy parecido a Ruben Blades)Para mi su estilo es lo mas parecido a Alejandro Sanz en version femenina. La calidad del sonido y la profundidad de su lirica hace este el mejor CD que tengas en tu carro o en tu iPod. No te cansaras de escucharlo es sencillamente fenomenal. Solo estoy esperando la version Karaoke. Abran paso que aqui esta la proxima ganadora del grammy por best new artist en el 2008.¡Que talentazo hija que Dios te lo bendiga!

Este álbum es uno de los mejores que he escuchado en toda mi vida. Se nota la calidad musical de esta chava. Las canciones, a pesar de ser populares, constan de una sensibilidad mágica. Lo más característico de este álbum es la voz de su intérprete. Su tono es algo inusual y al mismo tiempo atrayente. Altamente recomendable para todos aquellos románticos y los que están cansados de escuchar siempre lo mismo. NO se van a arrepentir de la compra...

Cualquier Día by Kany García really impresses me. Kany sings with energy and a great deal of passion in her voice. However, I must tell you something up front. The only thing that might (and I said "might") turn some people off is that Kany sings in Spanish; even the liner notes and the lyrics are completely in Spanish. Nevertheless, I believe that Kany sings just so well you won't help being able to love her artistry. The sound quality is excellent and the artwork is very nicely done.

"Esta Soledad" starts the CD with Kany singing with her heart and soul; and the guitar work is excellent! The percussion marks the beat and Kany never sings a superfluous note! Kany sings this love song very well; she explores her feelings about living on after a love has ended. "Estigma De Amor" features Kany front and center--and that's all right by me! This torch song is very beautiful and Kany García sings this perfectly. The musical arrangement is very lush; but in actuality the guitar, drums and percussion do carry the bulk of the melody. Kany sings beautifully; and this impresses me greatly. Kany's voice truly is very beautiful; it charms me to hear her sing.

"Amigo En El Baño" has Kany showing off her excellent ability to handle complicated tempo and key changes seemingly effortlessly--but we know that it really isn't all that easy--Kany possesses a great deal of talent. "Amigo En El Baño" is a highlight of this album.

"Hoy Ya Me Voy" stuns me with its beauty; the piano arrangement is very elegant and I like that a lot. Kany sings this with great sensitivity and it all holds its own very well. Listen also for Kany to do a smash-up job on "¿Adónde Fue Cecilia?" Kany sings about a person named Cecilia and she clearly misses Cecilia very much. The tender ballad is extremely well performed by Kany García.

"Te Vuelvo A Ver" has some minor keys going on to enhance the natural beauty of this number; and Kany sings this with all her might. Awesome! "¿Que Nos Pasó?" is a moving type of torch song that features Kany singing sweetly about a love that has gone awry; she delivers "¿Que Nos Pasó?" with panache and her excellent sense of timing enhances her performance even further. Great!

"Carla Se Fue" tugs at my heartstrings when I hear this song; Kany García sings passionately of a love gone wrong when Carla leaves her man Jose to live her life without him. Kany actually steps into the story to heighten our understanding of Jose's pain. The percussion works wonders for this ballad and the electric guitar work sounds just right for this number.

The CD ends strong with Kany performing "Todo Basta." "Todo Basta" gets the royal treatment from Kany who delivers this brilliantly. The piano arrangement bolsters Kany's performance and "Todo Basta" makes the perfect ending for this excellent album.

Kany García clearly possesses great talent; and I predict she'll be entertaining us for many, many years to come. I highly recommend this CD for those of us who enjoy Spanish music--and even if you don't know a word of Spanish you'll be instinctively drawn to the poignant sounds of Kany García when she sings with total honesty.

Not sure what I expected when I ordered this CD, having listened to many of the recent and past crops of Latina pop divas (Selena, Paulina, Thalia, Shakira, etc.), I had in mind something with a little more sizzle. Not that the absence of that disappointed me, it just was unexpected.

I found Ms Garcia's voice to be soothing and a definite complement for the instrumental backing. This is not party music, unless yours are extremely sedate; I would favor this as a selection for background music for a dinner or lounging with a few friends, it is soft and soothing, non-intrusive. P-)

I would like to recommend to all those who likes pop and romantic music to buy this CD, the first time i heard her voice i was astonished.

Kany Garcia's "cualquier dia" is a interesting CD. I wasn't sure what to expect when I loaded it onto my CD player, as Ms. Garcia is a new artist and I have not read or heard anything about her before.
"Cualquier dia" is a hard CD to categorize. Looking at the CD cover, I thought it was a jazz CD, a la Norah Jones, but "cualquier dia" is an interesting mix of pop music, with ballads, and songs that clearly have a country sound "Amigo en el bano" and rock "Mujer de tacones." One song, Si ya no estas conmigo," sounds like it could have been sung by Alanis Morissette.
I liked this CD, and I will be listening to it again. Ms. Garcia has a good strong voice, and her backing band is versatile. She clearly shows promise and will become an even stronger performer once she discovers her niche.

Kany Garcia deserves better. Her voice is wonderful, but the music backing her up is only just average.

That said, this CD is certainly worth a listen if you like Latin pop/rock. While nothing really blew me away, I find it pleasant enough to have on in the background or during dinner.

Like the record executive might say, "I don't hear a single!"

But I've certainly heard a lot worse.

Kany will now be on my musical radar, and I can only hope she finds a new producer for the next disc.

There are different categories of music that I like and I am not referring to genres, but rather music that I like to listen to while I'm driving, cleaning, working, and the like. I found Kany's cd was one that I liked to work with. The CD would be on and would be in the background, so I wasn't actively listening while I'm working. I enjoyed the CD.

I did listen to it in the car, as well, but found that I'd listen to track and jump forward to another. This CD reminded me of a Latina Leona Lewis. LL sounds similar to Mariah Carey and Kany reminds me of other Latina artists, so she didn't exactly stand out. If anything, it's pop music that has been "Latinized." I know that this wasn't the intention, but that's what I got out of it. And, I do understand Spanish and I'm also Latina.

Would I recommend buying this CD? I'm not sure. I think that one or two of my siblings might like it. My overall suggestion--give her a chance.
