It was not until recent that I heard for the first time the music of Esteban Salas.I came across it by chance when I was looking for music from colonial Latin-America in amazon.com website. I listen to the samples that they had on the website,and I was very surprise with Don Esteban's music.I was very happy to know that here in the western hemisphere we also have composers as great as the ones in Europe.Don Esteban's music is very good and devotional also very simple.Don Esteban also shows how well he was able to work with his limited number of instruments and he does a great job at it too.
