I ordered this item based upon the photo--showing a dark, almost black, and very "rich" look. What I received was a bright purple cigar case--one that I am actually embarrassed to use in front of my friends. Do NOT order this if you are looking for a black/masculine case.

I bought this cigar case for use while traveling short distances/attending events. Functionally it is perfect, but aesthetically it doesn't come close to matching the color in the image. Rather than receiving a luxurious deep-toned colored case as pictured, in any level of direct light, the case is a very feminine purple. Be aware that although the case is very nice, the purple color takes away from the experience of pulling out a fine cigar, especially in front of others!
