I've used this product for several years now, and it is fabulous. It is applied (and lasts) weekly. There is no harsh smell as there sometimes can be with nail products. Overall, my nails are much stronger, and no longer split, crack, or tear. I recently tried a nail strengthener from QVC, and for $30 was a waste of money. I'll stick with Cuccio!
