I bought this in after I bought an Imperia Pasta Machine. The model 150 was amazing and easy to use but I kept getting cramps in my wrist and hands so I decided to buy the motorizer. I am extremely happy with the purchase. I went from having fresh pasta in a couple of hours with the regular manual maker to having it in about 30 minutes with the motorizer. And it comes out so much more even too! It is a little pricy (I actually got mine for much much cheaper) but I would absolutely recommend it, especially for the busy home cook who would rather have amazing fresh pasta where you can control the flour, eggs, etc. that is used than commercially produced pasta.

I am a Polymer Clay artist, and I purchased this motor to attach to my pasta machine, which is a very important equipment piece for my work. I have seen older models of this CucinaPro and they are wonderful, and the photograph that is displayed looks just like the older models. But it is not the same in many ways. 1. It is now made out of stainless steel, 2. The bracket is now made out of plastic and not metal, 3. The plug is in the front which gets in the way, where it use to be in the back, 4. There is no longer 2 different speeds to choose from, only one. With shipping costs, I paid $114.00 for this item, and I had expected a much better value for this price. I will use it, keep it, but with disappointment.
The company really should use a recent photo of their product, the one they show now is VERY misleading.

I bought this item along with the CP Imperia pasta machine for my husband. He loves both and has told me on several occasions that he would not have been able to live without the motor that allows him to make pasta sans the endless hand cranking as the dough needs to be passed multiple times through the machine to get it the right consistency and thickness. With this motor, all he needs to do now is attach it to the Imperia pasta machine, turn it on, and start feeding the dough through. No more hand cranking! This is an invaluable accessory. My only comment is that even though it looks white in the pictures, the one I ordered here was a high quality, metal chrome. Very pleased with this purchase!

Ruined by a weak attachment
While the motor seems to work ok, the polycarbonate arm that attaches it to the roller is weak and seems like it won't take long to break. Read more

Makes life easier
I may only get into my pasta making fun in the fall and winter, but when I do, I do not want to face it with dread. The motor speeds things up (no pun intended). Read more
