whimsical narrative of the ancient and modern Kokpelli,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cuckoo For Kokopelli (Paperback)
Dave Walker gives you a modern twist on the ancient myth turned recent Southwest icon. The author also offers you some illustrations of the modern marketing of the Kokopelli. Overall, the book is fun and easy reading. A good book for a day in the park, ride on an airplane or just a lazy day!

A total waste of time and money,
By Peter Wadsworth "papakokopelli" (Rocas de Santo Domingo, V Region Chile) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Cuckoo For Kokopelli (Paperback)
While I have regretted buying some books in the past, I never have felt so shamelssly ripped off by a writer. This pap wouldn't make it in a Sunday supplement. Clearly written to cash in on the popularity of the kokopelli arquetype, this book offers absolutely NOTHING in the way of new knowledge or useful information.

Fun, informative companion to Loco for Lizards,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cuckoo For Kokopelli (Paperback)
Dave Walker explores an icon that's appeared in an amazing array of nutty places throughout contemporary culture. He keeps it light, but provides solid information, just as in the publisher's companion book, Loco for Lizards by Jim Cherry. Like that book, this one is great casual reading, well written enough to be enjoyed by anyone, even if you didn't think you were curious about the subject.
