I really like this game camera, I bought another last year, this one is easier to use, taking the SD Card out is soooo much easier and faster.
The pics are great, the trigger speed is great, It's just a great game camera.

If you people want a good cuddeback camera. Do not get this model.
Get the Cudde Capture. The IR does not take good images like you see on the cudde website. The Capture does. I do not know why you should pay more for a camera that doesn't take equal to or better images of game. Trust me on this i own both and do not like the IR. Also to add the distance you have to be from this camera to even get it to trigger at night is less then 10 feet away. If you read the specs on the Cudde site is says "flash distance 40 ft" That is not the trigger distance. If something was closer to the camera to trigger it, then the IR flash would let you see up to 40 ft. However, that doesn't hold true as well. If the animal is more then 15 feet away you cannot tell what it is. This camera is not worth the money. Save yourself some money and get the capture. Those images are crisp and clear just like the site shows. Day or night you get nice color images even around 15 feet away. i do not know about the models after the IR, but the IR is a disappointment camera for that price.

Notice he said "fairly good photos". They look like crap compared to the ones on the cudde back site saying they was taken with that model camera. Also, the Trophy Room software is very buggy and crashes allot. It is cumbersome to use as well. I am a programmer in 4 languages and very familiar with a pc. This software was written in dot net framework. And will need an install of the specific framework 3.5 to even get it to run the first time.

This camera will not take great photos 30 feet away. More like 8 feet. anything after this day or night is is blurry. The IR flash range is 40 feet. Not the trigger range. You have to be within 10 feet or less of the camera to even get it to take a photo.

The IR capture works as advertised. There is no flash...nighttime photos are black and white but that's OK. I have the Cuddy Capture and it takes great nighttime pics but eats the batteries alot faster.

Great instructions and easy set up. Firmware was up to date. First night out, it took 8 night photos of deer, which produced a fairly good photo that I was happy with. Also [...] provides a free installation of their TrophyRoom software which very easy to use.

This camera i the best i have ever worked with. so easy to use and everthing is easy to get at.
I bought an older style cuddeback in the past but it was junk as far as i was concerned.
I was very reluctant to purchase another one but i could not have been more wrong.
they have really made enormous improvements on this camera from time settings to the chip location.
Trigger speed is great caught pictures of deer running past it so i know it is fast.

I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants a no-nonsense camera...my 70 year old father can run it
so it is very easy to run.

It also works great better than i would have imagined sensing unit is great works farther out than i ever expected.
All in all a great unit and would recomend it to anyone looking for a new scouting camera.

Camera is not trasmitting images to sd card. Will have to retrun for a replacement.

I ordered this camera from e_book_mart for use at my farm. I placed it in the field and then checked it a month later. Long story short the camera never worked, Amazon return is only good for 1 month. E_book_mart failed to help in any way and Cuddeback refuses to do anything. Lesson learned. Put batteries in the camera and check them immediately so that you are at least covered under the 1 month from AMAZON. I spent $ on batteries, shipping and now have a camera for the garbage.

This camera did not work. It would show that there were pictures taken, but the pictures did not show up on the camera stick! So, I could never view any pics.
The instructions were skimpy, but the use was rather complicated and difficult/lenghty. Overly difficult to use.
I reviewed the instructions numerous times to try to use this camera, and called and got someone to walk me through the set up and use, but it still never worked. I have sent it back and received a refund.

I just order this 2 weeks ago and paid $239.99 from Amazon.com. I guess I could pack it up and return it, and order another for $200.00, but I'm happy with this unit. It takes great night photo's and day photos are even better. It takes photo's about 30 feet away. Very easy to setup.

I have had mine for almost a year. It worked pretty well the first summer. It occasionally locks up and stops working, which is remedied by pulling the batteries and making it reset.

It is very temperature sensitive, and will not run in late Fall, Winter, or early Spring.

At this point, mine is eating batteries at a frightening rate, and locks up more often than it works. Disappointing for a $250 camera! What tempers the disappointment is that I did get a lot of great photos the first season I used it.

At this point I am looking at expensive rechargable batteries to see if having a fresh set of batteries every 2-3 days would keep it limping along through another season. Can't decide whether to throw good money after bad, though.
