This is a must-read book. Literarily transports you to the past! One more time, Horacio Quiroga "the Edgar Allan Poe" of Latin America, beautifully exposes his stories to make you dream...and wonder.

No había mucha luz.

Nicely written. Amazon should increase the portfolio of Spanish speaking books. The author is good, the story develops well and it is great to have it handy.

The author, Horacio Quiroga, was one of the great Argentine writers of the 19th. century. This is one of his first books when he was in his twenties and it already shows his great talent in expressing the internal mental process of his subjects plus a masterful use of clear, complete Spanish language..
