Tie Bar

This tie bar is wonderful in aesthetics; I wear mine four days a week. The only problem, which is somewhat minor, but significant enough for me to demote one star is that the spring that creates the grip of the clip isn't strong enough. I find that I have to adjust and readjust the clip so that it's horizontal at all times, because it inevitably works its way to a sloppy diagonal.

Aside from that, I wear this tie bar with skinny ties and it still looks great, even though it sticks out of the tie by a quarter inch. For all other non-skinny ties, the bar works great and fits as it should. It's thin enough to not look like bling, but showy enough to maintain a professional decorum.

I bought it, wore it twice, and it broke the third time as I was trying to put it on.

Seems to be holding up just great. I have had this clip for a while and it works just great, looks great too.

This tie-bar is great since I wear a silver watch. It goes with everything, is wicked-easy to take on/off, and is simple enough that it doesn't make an obnoxious fashion statement every time I wear it. Also, since I am rather tall and I like using a double-winsor knot, it's great being able to clip it at whatever height I need to prevent the 'tail' from popping-out from behind my tie--I hate that. I would probably also buy one of these in flat metallic black if they made one.
