Got it for running,
This review is from: Cuffu Armband for Apple iPhone , iPhone 3G , iPhone 3GS , RED
I haven't used it for running yet, but I got it for Christmas yesterday, put it on my arm and moved it around. Seems to do what I wanted it for--not jiggle around on my arm! The strap is nice because it holds the whole iphone and doesn't just slip in the back like the one I have for my ipod. This is nice since the iphone and larger ipods are heavier than say the ipod nano which is lightweight and smaller. There is more support with this arm band. I don't like the plastic cover on it. You cannot use the touch screen because it's not up against the iphone and it's way too thick, so I think I will just cut it out and it will work just fine. The iphone isn't going to fall out because the cover isn't there. Hopefully when I use it and break out a sweat, my sweat will not leak through to the iphone. The material is pretty thick in between the iphone and my arm, but you never know. Another reason it does not recieve 5 stars is because when you put it in the case, you have to remove the iphone cover. It fits in there really tight without the cover tho, so it's not going to fall out.

I used this item a total of 2 times over 2 months. I have since used my nano band which is much more suitable to my workout needs. This band, during its second use, broke at the seam. I read a few reviews and understood that the product is not meant for people who have larger than normal arms (which I don't). The band is velcro, however has no elastic whatsoever. There is no give, so when you tighten the band around your arm it comes close to cutting off your circulation. If you left it any looser, it would slide right off your arm. I'm into crossFit/functional fitness type of exercises and I'll tell you that I don't believe this armband would withstand simple running workouts longer than 2 miles. Bottom line, put elasticity in the band so there is some give and improve the quality of stitching so it doesn't break as easily. Not worth the 15 bucks I spent, don't waste your time.
