I bought this scale for primary use as a mail scale for things I sell on Amazon and eBay. I feel like I may be a niche user in this area, it was very difficult to find anyone trying to use food scales for measuring small envelopes/packages. However, ounces are ounces and for the price I decided I would give it a try. At the time of purchase it was substantially cheaper than any of the mail scales I was looking at, with the bonus of being intended for use with food. It has been working great so far. It is particularly nice for mailing dvds and cds when I want to get an exact weight to see which method of shipping (media mail/first class) will be the cheapest and making sure that I am only buying postage for what I need.

The scale does measurements in grams, kilograms, ounces, and pounds. You can change the unit of measurement with a small button on the bottom the the unit. The scale can hold up to 11 pounds, which is more than enough for anything I am shipping or cooking. Additionally, the scale is available in black, silver, and white. I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

Does a great job of weighing in ozs. Also weighs in pounds, grams, kilos (as I found out when I was asked and had to look again). This Scale also does have the tare feature and gets rid of the weight of whatever you weigh your food in, so that is really helpful. If you need/want more information, ASK or read the other reviews. This works good and does the job. Not fancy but accurate.

Was very accurate in the ounces mode. (Have a test weight.)

My ladyfriend recently bought me this scale for only a few dollars (the price has since increased). In summary its cheap junk. You put almost anything on it and you can't read the screen. Now it wont even turn on.

On top of that I am really suspicious of the reviews on this product. Most of the reviews are unverified. Not that alarming, but a bunch of the profiles of these unverified reviews are from Lakewood NJ where this company is based (google is your friend :)). So you make your own decision on this one.

Frankly i think its worth a few dollars if you need a scale to last a week or two.
