I bought this set for my husband for Father's Day, based upon the good reviews in June 2011. Since then, it has only been used 3 times. This last time, the spatula broke off the handle with only gentle pressure. Now that it has broken, it is obvious that the handles are only spot welded to the metal ends in two small spots on either side! Not the quality that I would expect from Cuisinart, especially at this price! I would not recommend this to anyone!

I ordered this grill tool set for my husband for Christmas this year. I had high hopes because I've never had a bad product from Cuisinart, needless to say I was quite disappointed. I should have listened to the other reviews and skipped over this product. The case lacked proper/quality construction, there were imperfections on the inside of the case, as well as on the tools themselves. The handles, of the tools, were QUITE reddish/orange - not at all like the image on the website. The construction of the tools, however, seemed heavy duty and pretty good quality. I decided to let my husband check the set out to see what he thought. We returned this product the following day. Total disappointment.

I don't know why people are complaining about the case and quality. This set is such high quality and it looks like it will last for a LONG while. Also, the case is sturdy. I think some people are rating the wrong product here. Someone even said the spatula broke off the handle, let me tell you this...there is NO WAY it could do that. Great set, very gorgeous to look at! Got it for my Dad and Husband, and they both LOVE it!
