This is the BEST form of pressure cooking out there!

Piece of junk, if you ask me.
Purchased one of these just over a year ago and it worked fine till the warranty was expired. Started to leak steam, so we wasted $20.00 on a new ring. Next time we tried to use it, the electronics are not working. Will buy the old fashioned kind next time. I think the Chinese are trying to kill me. (joke)

Many people swear by pressure cooking because of the speed of cooking and consistent results.
Cuisinart takes the process one step further. Unlike stove-top cookers that require you to monitor the cooking process, the Cuisinart electric unit allows you to drop the ingredients, press the setting buttons and walk away. Traditional pressure cooking recipies may require some slight time adjustments, but most are the same. This unit is as simple to use as a crock pot. Chicken, ribs, roasts, rice, pasta are all possible in a fraction of the time. I highly recommend this unit over the traditional stove top units.
