cuisinart replacement bowl
The bowl from my Cuisinart, which is several years old, had simply died and wouldn't lock into place anymore. I was delighted to find a replacement available so that I didn't have to invest in a new processor. This fits perfectly on my old machine and I am happily back in business!

choose the RIGHT bowl
This bowl does NOT fit the the other parts that come with the Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 model DLC-8S from either the 80's or right now. Both of my original bowls have two tabs on the top to hold the various lids on, while this model has three - thus no way to activate the safety system so you can use it. It does appear to be made by Cuisinart, but the plastic is much...

This bowl does NOT fit the the other parts that come with the Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 model DLC-8S from either the 80's or right now. I just recieved this work bowl and it looks new but is already cracked where the bowl I'm replacing is cracked off. This must be a used item. Looking under a magnifying glass one can actually see the rough edges of the cracked area. This is amazingly poor quality in design and/or material. I have called the co. and they say they will refund the cost and no shipping charge. We'll see.
