Cuisinart 14-c. Work Bowl with Handle, Clear.

As others state the work bowl is well made but there seems to be some variance in the manufacturing of these bowls. In my case the top will need to be sanded as the size (diameter) is not to the tolerance of the original top piece as well as a small piece of the interlock at the top needs to be cut/removed in order for the lid to fully rotate onto and lock with the bowl. This is at the top of the interlock pin housing. If you are not up to these tasks of adoption you will be shooting in the dark as to the instant fitting and adaptability of this bowl. As I am a long time engineer and fix it guy this task is nothing more than an inconvenience but for others it could present a major problem.

My 1995 Cuisinart is a lifesaver in the kitchen. I've used this machine way beyond what should be its useful life, but the motor is as strong as ever.

I was crestfallen when the work bowl finally cracked across its bottom and wouldn't hold any liquid. I couldn't find a decently priced replacement before finding this on Amazon, so I improvised a temporary epoxy-repair solution and used my beloved food processor for dry jobs only (grating cheese, crumbing crackers, etc.) until my husband found this replacement bowl.

It's exactly the same quality as the original and it's wonderful to have a clear bowl again (my old one had become clouded from the combination of acidic foods and "cracker crumbing," one of my favorite uses of the old machine).

The price is great and the quality of the bowl is excellent--an exact replica of my original. Just remember this is the bottom portion of the workbowl only & does not include the lock-on lid or pusher assembly.

Although it was convenient to locate a work bowl that fit my DLC 7 superpro (a very old food processor) it doesn't go on easily. I need to pound on the handle to move it into position and the same when I complete the task. I'm trying to sand the bowl so it fits better but it is difficult to sand the very hard plastic.

The description for this item says that it is compatible with "All 14-cup food processors" but this is incorrect.

I ordered this to replace the work bowl on my DC014N food processor, and unfortunately it doesn't fit. (The pin on this bowl won't fit into the pin on the DC014N base, which prevents the processor from turning on.)

It looks like I'm going to have to return this bowl and order this one instead: Cuisinart DLC-2014WBN-1 Work Bowl with White Handle

The bowl on my Cuisinart was leaking. I purchased a new bowl. It came without a new lid/cover. My old lid/cover did not work with the new bowl. I contacted the seller and asked if he could sell me a new lid. He basically said he didn't have any information about the product, he couldn't help me and didn't understand my problem. He was extremely unhelpful. i wound up sending back the bowl when i actually wanted to BUY more product from him.

The new bowl worked almost perfectly. The outside diameter of the new bowl is just a tiny bit bigger than my old bowl, so the old top fit too tight. Using a course sandpaper, I was able to sand the old top allowing a better fit. Now it is perfect!

If you're buying this bowl to replace the workbowl on your 20+y.o. cuisinart, you will need to buy the lid and the pusher, too. Each of these items was about 30$ with shipping (which is a lot of money for some pieces of plastic!), but still less expensive than a new machine. The replacement pusher is the new-fangled telescoping variety which is hard to clean. That, combined with the obviously overpriced parts, is why it only gets 3 stars.

It fits & works great on this very old machine. Quality of plastic isn't wonderful. Should be better priced. But hey, it's works.

bought a new food processor because bowl to old one was broken. hated it. the purchase of replacement bowl for my old cuisinart has brought it back to life. love it.
