I bought these canisters from Younkers and they are terrible. I am buying new canisters on Amazon because I have to throw my Cuisinart ones away! My sugars are rock hard. They definitely are not air tight!

Nice-looking canister set. Complements the other stainless-steel elements in my kitchen. My only criticisms would be that the screw-on lids are somewhat difficult to unscrew unless you have really big hands, and the plastic windows tend to leak flour if you set the canister down too hard. The slide openers on top are convenient if you want to pour the contents, but if you like to scoop out flour or sugar, you'll have to deal with the difficult-to-remove lids.

This is a nice-looking set of canisters. They have a brushed stainless look and windows to show what's inside. The pour spout on top doesn't work well for flour because flour doesn't pour very well, but it would be useful for other things one might keep in a canister. Flour sticks to the window so it isn't a clean look. The largest one is 14" tall, so make sure there is enough space for it before ordering. The set matches the Cuisinart spoon rest (which is also large.)

Waste of Money
