5.0 out of 5 stars excellent--perfect for 2
This pan is much thinner and lighter than, say, Calphalon commercial, but I've had no problem with food sticking. The size of the pan makes it a great mini-wok; it's 3" deep, 7" across the bottom, and 9 3/4" across the top. The bottom is flat, which I think is perfect if you want to saute onions, green peppers, etc. It has a clear glass lid with a good size handle. After...

3.0 out of 5 stars Be very careful
Too expensive. But, be very careful when placing on stove, especially gas which has an open grill. The handle is as heavy as the pot and mine has tipped over a couple of times. Make sure you have enough ingredients in pan to prevent this.
Not worth the money.

After years of cooking on a gas range, I now find myself cooking on one of those awful ceramic cooktops where you never know what the temp. is and things tend to boil over. Now when I cook rice--normally done in a 2 qt. pan, I use this pan because the 3 qt. size is more forgiving of boil overs. I hate ceramic/electic cooktops, but this pan makes them easier to live with. Anything you'd normally cook in a 2 qt saucepan you can cook in this pan and have a little margin for error. The 7" bottom is exactly the same size as the large burner on my ceramic cooktop. At just $30 this pan is a bargain, and I use it frequently. Get one. You'll like it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the size, November 10, 2007
This review is from: Cuisinart 635-24 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 3-Quart Chef's Pan with Cover (Kitchen)
It was perfect for making 1-2 pounds of a meat dish. I use it for frying too because it is deep enough. The nonstick interior was easy to clean up and the pan felt just right. I wouldn't mind buying this again or give as a gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick 1.5 Nonstick Pan, July 10, 2010
This review is from: Cuisinart 635-24 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 3-Quart Chef's Pan with Cover (Kitchen)
This is a Cuisinart 1.5 qt pan and not a 3 like they are asking me to review, but anyway, I bought it from Amazon.com and I just love it. Lid fits niceley. Let some noodles over cook the other day that I was warming up and forgot!! They weren't burn't and were not stuck to the pan. Great pan. I already own several.

I purchased this product because "I like to see what is cooking, while I am cooking!" This has filled the bill well, no more spattering on the stove and the greatest is the fact that it cooks FAST! We like the fact that it is simple to clean!Thank you Cuisinart and AMAZON!

I use this pan on almost a daily basis, and am well pleased with my purchase. I purchased this pan due to it's versatility. The shape is perfect for wet cooking, or as a small saute pan. Due to the increased surface area, it reduces much faster than a saucepan. The non-stick finish seems to be durable so far, and I have had no problems with scorching. As noted by others, this is a lightweight pan, but heat distribution seems good. If you are looking for thick heavy aluminum, buy Calphalon or All-Clad. Overall I would say this is a good buy for the budget conscious shopper. I like this pan well enough that I have also purchased the 4 quart version.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very useful pan in my arsenal, March 21, 2011

I have used this pan at least twice a week since buying it. It is a well made pan and the non-stick surface is holding up very well. With its high sides and flat bottom it is greay for preparing foods that need to be sauteed and then cooked, perfect for stews, oriental cooking, and dishes where you create a sauce after browning your meat, fish and poultry.
