Very pleased with the quality. When it arrived, I was surprised at how large it is. Considered sending it back for that reason--Primarily I just want it to reheat single-serving meals (and NOT use a microwave). But then I thought it's not a bad idea to be able to use it for larger servings. I love it. The curved bottom is nice, it's easy to clean and pretty and shiny enough that I hung it in the kitchen.(Which works better than on a shelf as the curved bottom naturally keeps it from staying upright--the photo is deceiving in that regard). Definitely recommend this and all Cuisinart pots & pans.

This is a very nice & heavy-duty double boiler. It fits snugly on the Cuisinart pots and sits nice & level. The scooped out bottom makes it very easy to manipulate the ingredients.

High quality and sturdy constructions. I can't think of anything I would change.

My usual 2 quart double boiler was just too small for making 2 quarts of yogurt. There was a little head room, but not much. The Cuisinart double boiler was the only large size that I could find. The curved bottom is nice for using a whisk in the pan, but the only drawback is that it rocks trying to set it on a counter. Not a good idea. So, I just set it in the sink drain when I need to set it down not in the lower pot. Great product.

Nice insert that fits all size pots. Great for reheating mashed potatoes without burning or drying out. Also not heavy so it doesn`t add too much weight to my pot rack.

This boiler does not fit snug in the base 3 quart kettle. It might be ok for the 4 qt kettle.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Universal Double Boiler with Cover

My wife just loves this Universal Double Boiler, most of all the way it is what I call stepped down in the bottom. This makes it versical where you can us it in more than one pan.

This complement the cuisinart 17 piece set of stainless steel cookware that we purchased earlier this year. I have rated this a five star, if I could I would give it more stars; not just the Double Boiler, but the entire set.

We have switched from another popular brand of cookware to the cuisinart most of all because it is dish washer proof and the finish does not come off like some of the popular coated cookware does.

I love my Cuisinart stainless cookware set. I needed a new double boiler and decided to stick with the same brand, despite some of the reviews I had read online. This double boiler is just too big for my needs. In addition, it is difficult to store because it doesn't have a flat bottom. The quality of this product is excellent. I just don't like it's shape and size.

Quality, and use of this double boiler is wonderful. I am so glad I ordered it, how much easier working with cheese, chocolate, and other "hard" foods is with this little addition to my kitchen tools. I love it!

From the smile on my daughter-in-law's face, I knew that I had chosen the perfect gift to add to her collection of Cuisinart cookware. The double boiler fit her sauce pan perfectly and was so easy to clean after use.

Excellent double boiler. Work with multiple sizes of Cuisinart pots. Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
