Product Description

Amazon.com Review

As an introduction to the beauty and performance of heavy, 18/10 stainless-steel cookware, this 7-piece set is a terrific bargain. The set consists of a 1-1/2-quart saucepan with lid, a 2-quart saucepan with lid, a 6-quart saucepot with lid, and a 9-1/2-inch skillet. Everything is oven-safe to 500 degrees F. Cuisinart's Everyday Stainless cookware has copper disks sandwiched within the stainless steel along the bottom of each pan. Copper is cookware's best heat conductor; it spreads heat rapidly and uniformly, preventing hot spots. Handles are welded and have no inside rivets to trap food, while lids are deep set for a tight fit. Polished to a mirror finish, Everyday Stainless begs to be displayed, and hanging holes in the handles make that possible. Though this cookware is dishwasher-safe, hand washing preserves the finish better. Everyday Stainless carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellence in everyday cookware, January 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Cuisinart 99-7NW Everyday Stainless 7-Piece Cookware Set (Kitchen)
Two years ago we received a gift of a Cuisinart Everyday Stainless stockpot. We had just installed a flat-top range and we were finding that our old aluminum pots with rounded bottoms spent more time dancing around on the burner than cooking. This pot heats in a fraction of the time. I have a small fudge making operation. We had used Le Cruset enameled iron pots because of their even heating. The Cuisinart stockpot is far superior in being lighter and especially difficult to scorch, which is so important in candy making and simmering thick stews like chili or tomato sauce. I am anxiously waiting for the arrival of a full set of Everyday Stainless. Amazon's current prices are amazingly low for this product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Hot to Handle, May 5, 2007

This review is from: Cuisinart 99-7NW Everyday Stainless 7-Piece Cookware Set (Kitchen)
These are nice pans, but are not exactly as advertised. The handles DO get too hot to touch, and I have to use a potholder to pick them up off the stove. I wouldn't recommend these pans, and I won't buy them again.
