For those who already have the Cuisinart SmartPower blender, this is an awesome addition to an already versatile kitchen tool. This food-processor attachment is used in place of the blender pitcher, and fits perfectly on the base of SPB-7 series blenders. Along with the work bowl, it comes with a chopping blade and a reversible disk for slicing or shredding. From piecrust to potato salad, there are plenty of dishes that a food processor makes short work of, but that short blender blades simply can't handle. I am single and when I cook for one or two I enjoy this Cuisinart Food Processor. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of space. Excellent for dicing or pureeing tomatoes, herbes, and vegetables from my summer garden for sauces too. When I have extra I just add some olive oil to the batch and instant pesto. I can freeze the pesto for later use. The food processor has plenty of power for those smaller jobs.

I purchased this attachment when I bought a much needed new blender and am glad I did. It is small, but I didn't need a large food processor taking up valuable cupboard space. It is a great size for chopping vegetables, etc. If I have a lot to do, I simply chop in batches. I would recommend this to family and friends. I think the blender/processor would make a wonderful wedding gift.

I love the product, but misread what I was getting and didn't realize it was an attachment to a blender, so now I have to buy the blender in order to use the product. I thought it was just a small mini food processor and didn't realize it was an attachment.
