5.0 out of 5 stars Have it, use it, love it
We're a food allergy family, so I'm baking bread 2-3 times a week. My mother-in-law bought this pan for me last Christmas, and I've used it roughly 125 times since. It works beautifully. My only caution is that the directions say that the non-stick surface will not need spray or oil for most applications. Well, for gluten-free baking I would beg to differ... Unless...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nonstick Coating Doesn't Last
I bought this pan because of the value and the Cuisinart brand--I own other Cuisinart cookware and like it. Anyway, the pan is quite sturdy and hefty. The metal construction is seamless and durable. Unfortunately, I found that despite the fact that it's nonstick, my breads would often leave a thin layer stuck to the bottom of the pan, whether the pan was oiled or not. I...

Unless you want to naw that loaf out of the pan, you'd best use a bit of spray.

I have used this pan for several months and it is wonderful! It cooks evenly and clean up is so easy because nothing sticks to it. Heavy weight pan - highly recommended!

I received this pan and right away I made banana bread in it. I can't believe how heavy it is and the price is great. The bread came right out and baked evenly. I just love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT loaf pan - shallower and wider than average, February 9, 2007

Very nice loaf pan. Shallower and wider than what I think of as an "average" loaf pan -- meaning it holds the same total amount as the Pyrex loaf pan I already had, just in a wider shape (which I prefer).

Great quality, nonstick coating, cleans up easily. Nice, heavyweight metal. I am definitely glad I paid a couple of extra bucks to "upgrade" from the bottom-of-the-line loaf pans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just love this pan!!, April 13, 2007
This review is from: Cuisinart AMB-9LP Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
I purchased two of these several weeks ago and have used them multiple times with absolutely wonderful results! They are wider then most "loaf" pans, but I have found I prefer it now. In regards to the reviewer who stated that they mar easily, I hand wash all my non-stick bakeware because even though they state "dishwasher safe" I'd rather err on the side of caution. I also place a paper towel between the pans to prevent rubbing that may damage pans in storage (a little trick I learned from my Grandma years ago). Call me cautious, but money doesn't come easily and I like to take care of my bakeware! :)

This is a quality product, heavy and built to last. As a trained chef, I know that this pan will provide years of use if properly cared for. Note that you need to monitor your baking time carefully, as it is heavy duty and retains more heat than thinner aluminum pans. Your product will continue to cook longer once removed from the oven. Overall, great product at a great price. Continue to monitor baking long before its due to be finished.

These pans are Very nice - light colored on the inside they don't make the crust too dark, and they are very heavy & substantial. They are also non-stick, and I imagine I can cook chicken in there too! The reason I did not give them 5 stars is they are slightly wider than I would like, which seems to prevent the bread from proofing quite as high.

Pan had no cracks or scratches. Works as expected. Easy to clean. Just remember, this is not made out of teflon. So don't forget to grease the pan before baking.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nonstick Coating Doesn't Last, May 23, 2011

I bought this pan because of the value and the Cuisinart brand--I own other Cuisinart cookware and like it. Anyway, the pan is quite sturdy and hefty. The metal construction is seamless and durable. Unfortunately, I found that despite the fact that it's nonstick, my breads would often leave a thin layer stuck to the bottom of the pan, whether the pan was oiled or not. I could live with that, though. What I could not live with, though, is that one day one of my breads came out with sliver flecks of nonstick coating embedded in its sides and bottom. Given that it didn't prove totally nonstick for me, I'd have preferred it not be coated and just be a durable pan that needed oiling.

This review is from: Cuisinart AMB-9LP Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
Love..Love..Love these pans!!
I bought two of these pans as most recipes for loaves take two pans.
The very first time I baked lemon cakes in these they came out Spectacular!...Golden tops..evenly baked...I could not be happier...after that ...I went looking for more pieces of this bakeware...bought 4...9 inch rounds on a 4 for 3 and gave two as gifts...If you are looking to replace your bakeware..give some serious thought to this line...its heavy duty, and very well made!
