I bought this pot retail for $49.99 and I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. Even the Amazon price is worth every penny! I wanted to get Le Creuset cast iron pot but they were too expensive and just happened to go into a local Maxx store and saw this pot, I said to myself it's a fraction of the cost of it's expensive cousin and it looks just as durable and as heavy as the expensive ones so I bought it, Cusinart is a good and reliable brand so I gave it a try. I figured if I changed my mind, I can just return it.I used it for the first time today and I was so impressed and happy with my purchase! If you are on the fence with this pot, don't be. Go ahead and buy it, use it and you won't be disappointed.

Cuisinart made this product for a lifetime of use. I use the dishwasher to clean it and it comes out like new. Cook with this pot three or four times a week, it's my favorite cooking utensil. Thanks to Cuisinart and Amazon I will be buying more enameled cookware.

This is a phenomenal product. I use it AT LEAST once a week, often more. I use it as a soup/chili pot, deep fryer, and casserole. It's especially great as a casserole dish if your first step is to sautee veggies or brown meat, because you can do it in this pot and then add everything else cutting down on dish duty. Clean up is a snap even for baked on pasta and cheese. The interior does discolor a little, but it does absolutely nothing to the functionality of the pot. Durability is awesome! I got mine Christmas of 2006 and it is still in great condition with no special treatment. It's my opinion that this pot is every bit as good as Le Crusset at a fraction of the price.
