Cuisinart Continental 6-Piece POM Knife Set with Natural Block

I bought this knife set recently for own use and am quite happy with it.

The set is definitely not among the cheapest if you consider how many items it includes. But it works very well so far. Things I like are:

1. Good handling. Polish stainless handle of all knives feels very good and sturdy. Compared to typical plastic handles in cheap knives, this is a great step up.

2. Very sharp blade. I am not sure about its durability since I have not used it very long. But I expect it to be reasonably strong.

3. The sharpening steel also works quite well, although its usage is bit odd (compared to other sharpening tool I used before). It successfully sharpened my old knives and gave them second life (sharp as new).

4. Hardwood block is heavy and sturdy. I hope the block can hold more knives and items since typically family would have more than number of slots it has (7 only).

Overall, it is a quality set with reasonable cost for a small family and kitchen.
