4.0 out of 5 stars High quality, beautiful knives
I've had these knives for a couple of years, and they've served me very well. At first I was concerned that the metal handles may turn out to be slippery or uncomfortable to hold, but that turned out not to be the case. 2.0 out of 5 stars 8" Knife tip cracked
The set has a pleasant visual appearance. I've owned it for over a year and it does a fair job. Chef knif use to go blunt quite often. And unfortunately, the tip of the 8" chef knife cracked and left me with dissapointment. I wouldn't buy this product again.

I've had these knives for a couple of years, and they've served me very well. At first I was concerned that the metal handles may turn out to be slippery or uncomfortable to hold, but that turned out not to be the case. These knives are just as comfortable to hold as any with a wood or plastic handle, and are much easier to clean -- because they have no cracks or crevices that can fill with gunk.

I have been satisfied with their sharpness too, and managed to keep them razor sharp without any difficulty (using a mid-sized Chef's Choice electric sharpener).

I've deducted one star because the two top "edges" of the knives are sharper than usual and give me a paper-cut every once in a while if I'm not careful. Also, the kitchen scissors in the set aren't all that great (nor did I expect them to at this price).
