This is the exact same carafe that comes with the coffe maker. I received it quickly and intact. My only complaint is that the carafe breaks fairly easily if accidentally bumped on something hard. As far as I know, there is no alternative carafe for this coffee maker.

These carafes are the correct size, but one of them leaked from the area where the handle connects. We put superglue on it, but it should not have been shipped to us with defects.

It was so much cheaper to replace the Carafe with the duo instead of one (it actually fit perfect). It will actually come in handy when I need to mkae alot of coffee, which when entertaining comes in very handy especially around the holidays.
