My 12 cup Cuisinart coffee maker is the best I have ever owned. Imagine my dismay when the carafe broke and I could not find a replacement in any local store. It appears there are many choices on line, but it is impossible to determine which 12 cup Cuisinart carafe matches my model machine. In spite of typing in the coffee maker model number, the carafe sent did not fit. It would be much easier if the carafe's would be matched with the coffee maker model numbers.

We keep breaking 'em. Good thing we can get these new ones easily and quickly.

I lost the manual for my coffee pot. I ordered this one as a replacement because it looked just like the one that I broke. It didn't fit my coffee maker..The "raised bump" in the middle of the lid was too short. (Lesson..make sure you have the right part number before you order!)I paid a total of $6 for return shipment. I called Cuisinart, they gave me the replacement carafe number, then it wasn't available on Amazon.

In all, I ended up paying $36 and recieved a new carafe from Cuisinart. Was it worth the price? Yes. I think so! My coffee pot is very sturdy and makes excellent coffee!

The carafe was the wrong size for my coffee maker. I had to return and pay postage and reorder direct from the Small Appliance dealer.

I ordered this as a replacement for an existing carafe that became cracked. The existing carafe looked the same and was 6.7" high, just like the product description for this product. When this product arrived it *was not* 6.7" high but closer to 5.9". It is not tall enough to work in our Cuisinart coffee machine. Obviously, someone made a mistake in the product description or the one we received was placed in the wrong box. Fortunately, Amazon agreed to give me a complete refund.

Have had a Cuisinart coffeemaker for years and the carafe broke. This was recommended as replacement. Is exactly like the original and arrived in a very short time.

Awesome product. I'm back in business now that I have my coffee pot in good working order! I highly reccomend this item for all you early birds.

This coffee pot does not fit the DCC-1000 series coffee maker contrary to what is listed under the description. The pot is too high and does not fit into the coffee maker model DCC-1000.

I was very happy to be able to replace my carafe when I found a crack in it. I have had my Cuisinart Coffeemaker for many years and I was overjoyed to see the carafe could still be replaced. The most important thing is to verify the exact carafe for your coffeemaker. I still had the guide so I was able to match up the correct replacement carafe number for the correct coffeemaker. I received just what I ordered!!

I love my coffee maker. I did extensive research before purchasing, and it was worth it. It makes the best coffee I've had at home, and is the best option for people why don't want to spend several hundred dollars on a coffemaker. But you probably aready know that if you are shopping for a replacement pot, instead of a new coffee maker.
That being said, I want to add my voice to all of the other people here who are cautioning other buyers against ordering the wrong product. Because other people mentioned that they recieved the wrong pot, I went directly to the Cuisinart website to make sure I was ordering the right pot. I checked, and checked, and checked again to make sure I had the right one. But when I got it, nope. Wrong pot. I needed the PRC model, and got the PBRC instead.
Amazon maintains that I ordered the wrong one. I maintain that I ordered the right one. But that is neither here nor there- they have offered me a full refund, and the right pot should be at my house in a couple of days. Can I survive without coffee for that long? Only time will tell.
