Good price on filters, but 20 lbs to ship?,
By Savvy Shopper (Oregon) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cuisinart DCC-RWF-6PK Charcoal Water Filters, 2 Year Supply, Includes 6 DCC-RWF packages. 2 Filters
When comparitive shopping I come to Amazon.com quite a bit and buy through them very often.
Buying these filters in larger quantities does gives a better price per filter. Look above and you will see the "item" described as 20 lbs for shipping. These are EXTREMELY light. The weight is inflated and charges more than actual for shipping. (Who knows if they meant to enter 2 lbs or 20 lbs?? Could be accidental or on purpose.) I'm in the process of ordering a set of 12 filters somewhere else for about $2 more, but shipping is about $14 less.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cuisinart DCC-RWF-6PK Charcoal Water Filters, 2 Year Supply, Includes 6 DCC-RWF packages. 2 Filters
If you own a Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew, Brushed Chrome or the Cuisinart DGB-550BK Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, you will quickly realize the secret to the great coffee brewed is the water filter. Unfortunately, the local big box stores just don't carry these necessary filters. Searching on-line, the best combination deal was found with these filters, i.e. quantity = 12 (two-years of usage if you change every two months) and price (this is the best price for the quantity/shipping that I found). Unlike other vendors, this one delivered as scheduled.
