I tried unsuccessfully to clean the old lid. Maybe I shouldn't have waited until I had a problem pouring until I tried to clean it thoroughly. The lid purchased was an exact replacement for the original and works fine. The price was good and the shipping was quick.

The replacement lid for my Cuisinart coffee pot arrived quickly and was the correct item. The lid did seal the coffee pot but was not quite as snug as the original. The coffee pot is fully functional again but the coffee doesn't stay hot for as long as it used to. Since my household typically finishes the coffee within 90 minutes this shortcoming is seldom experienced.
