Sometimes you just don't want to wash the regular cover with it's grooves and 3 parts. This is much simpler for when you just want to puree or chop stuff quickly.

Cover negates the need for the big complicated slicer cover. Not much clean up and easy to use. Wish I bought it years ago. didn't even know they had one until I saw it on TV. Color doesn't matter much.
