This cover was an exact replacement for what I broke, thank goodness--there is no way to use the food processor without the locking mechanism on this and the workbowl. I wish these plastic accessory parts for old Cuisinarts lasted longer. The motor unit just never gives up no matter what I throw at it, but I've had to replace workbowls and covers several times over the 25 years I've used the thing.

This work bowl cover was just what Ineeded to replace mine. It came quickly and allows me to use my food processor again. I was glad I could purchase only the cover and not have to purchase the entire pusher assembly
