What a way to save money! For the cost of a new detachable stem, I saved about $250.00 (the cost of a new Cuisinart). The motor on my old (35+ YEARS) Cuisinart was fine but I needed a new stem to replace a broken one and I'm so glad I found the needed part on Amazon.
