Cuisinart DLC-093 3-Piece Specialty Disc Set, Fits 14-Cup Processor

These do not work with the new 14 cup Elite model food processor. The packaging states is is for all 14 cup models, buyer be aware. ( so it got 2 stars)
I returned, and will just have to wait and see if they make the specialty discs for the 14 cup Elite model.

The disc set includes a thick slicing dic, a fine shredding disc and a thin slicing disc for the 14-cup cuisinart food proessor. They are easy to use and the slicing and shredding go super fast. I have used the dics for soft and hard vegetables and they can even handle carrots which had to be blanched with the old discs I had. Great product at a great price.

I had it returned to Amazon, as these discs do not fit the Cuisinart Elite 14-cup Food Processor (this, is the model I have). I had to visit the Cuisinart Web Site to order the proper ones (and, as the Elite 14-cup Food Processor is so new, they had all but the "Grater" disc currently available; therefore I ordered the two "Specialty" discs they have, and will order the Grater disc when it becomes available.

This is a great product! I was given a DCL-7 Series Cuisinart food processer and it was missing the slicing blades. These fit and the savings was incredible. They slice and shred perfectly. I was impressed. I can't wait to get the specialty blades.

These blades will NOT fit the Cuisinart Elite 14-cup processor. VERY frustrating as I purchased the Elite and the blades as a gift.

Got the set as the food processor did not come with these blades. Looked up and bought the small holder for these blades, too; keeps it all organized, and I can keep the ones I use less often in the small storage case, and keep the ones I use all the time in the large storage case that holds the chopper and bread dough blades. They work well, although the grater on carrots takes time, carrots are very hard vegetables. On the softer veggies, the blades are done in about 3 seconds. Very happy with these blades.

I don't yet own this specialty set, but am delighted to find it here on line after searching in stores. One of my family recipes are Polish-style potatoe pancakes made with grated raw potatoes, flour, egg and seasonings. What a chore to grate the potatoes by hand! If the fine grated does this job, my family will enjoy this treat that they love more often, and my knuckles won't need to be included in the dish!

I cook dinner most days of the week and have not really used these accessories much, they do work well, however.

True, I am not a gourmet cook; however, I doubt that many buyers really are. These disks fall in the category of too much work for the outcome. Although I LOVE my Cuisinart and use it for nearly everything, these "gadgets" as I call them are simply too much hassle--installing, using, cleaning!--for everyday use. For garnishes, you can probably find smaller, cheaper tools to use and store. For cooking, my attitude is "who cares" what size and shape your food is? In summary, you really must have a need to spend money to put these on your kitchen "wish list".
