My mom has had her classic Cuisinart over 20 years... I decided on this model in hopes of having the same luck. So far so good. I really enjoy the product. It's as powerful as I need and does an all around great job. I got mine at Williams & Sonoma and it came with an extra LExan bowl. Major bonus.

It looks like theyve stopped making this . . .I received this as a birthday gift a year ago, and I love it. i've used it to make pestos and other sauces, soup, dips, shakes and smoothies, frozen drinks, and even pie crust. I love it. It is easy to operate and store. The only problem is I've washed the bowl and pusher in the dishwasher a couple of times and they've become discolored. I would recommend washing them by hand. Also - the metal blade is SHARP. I dropped it once and it sunk half an inch into my linoleum kitchen floor, and I had to yank it out. This food processor is very easy to use and is hardy. If you can find a used one of this model for a decent price, I highly recommend it. |
