Part of the core of your Cuisinart Food Processor, the detachable stem allows for compact storage and helps hold each of the accessory discs in place. Whether you need to julienne, slice, or chop, your discs can be changed out using this single stem and will require it for operation.

I love my Cuisinart food processor and it is nice to be able to use other disks with the detachable stem. It isn't inexpensive, but is worth the price.

This stem works perfectly with my DLC-5 unit. I purchase the blades that fit other 7 cup models and everything works beautifully.

I bought this for a larger blade I bought to slice things larger and this works perfectly. I wasn't sure it would be sturdy enough, but it's great.
