The Cuisinart DLC-2AWB-1 Work Bowl w/ Clear Handle, 24 oz. is a very good replacement part. The original bowl to my Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus Processor developed a number of hairline cracks around the center post. It was only a matter of time before it began to leak, so I turned to Amazon for a replacement part. New Mini-Prep Plus Processors were $39 and since the only problem with mine was a cracked bowl, I didn't feel there was a need to replace the entire unit.

If you do much online research, you will find that the $15 and free shipping offered by Culinary Parts is one of the lowest, if not the lowest, to be found. Several other vendors charged as much as $10 more! Added to that was the fact that Culinary Parts is affiliated with Amazon; I looked no further. Shipping was rapid; I ordered over a weekend and had the Cuisinart DLC-2AWB-1 Work Bowl w/ Clear Handle, 24 oz. a week from the Monday the order was acknowledged. Five star service.

I rated this bowl as a 4-star product because it is not as durable as I think it should be. I have had my original Mini-Prep Plus for only 5 years and use it infrequently to chop walnuts and grind oatmeal into a fine meal. In my opinion, these two items are not so hard as to cause the amount of cracking that is present in the bowl.

I got this bowl as a replacement for the one that originally came with my mini-chop, which had broken. I love the product but I felt a bit of sticker shock for just this little plastic bowl. Still, I had to have it!
