I was very disappointed with this blade. I expected to get julienned carrots & zuchini and ended up with minced pieces. I have a 7 cup processor and tried different veggies but all with the same result. Its not worth owning. I've been using the slicer and shredder blades from cuisinart for 4 years (4 times a week) and they do a wonderful job. Wish there were better julienne blades than this one :(

This works fine for zucchini and SOFT potatoes and carrots, but it kind of jams the machine if you put hard carrots or potatoes in it with this disc. Maybe if you nuke (microwave) them a little beforehand, it might work great. I haven't tried that yet, though.

Also, since it's a disc, everything comes out curved. So if you want traditional straight julienned veggies, you'll have to cut them by hand or find a different machine.

But if you don't mind curved veggies, then no problem. It does a great job on zucchini, and I would guess, on eggplant, too.

Definitely did not work well with apples. Trying to do matchsticks but way too skinny. Basically did the same thing as the other blades that came with the machine. These addnl blades are expensive and you have no way until you purchase them to see if they actually do what you want them to. Disappointing and waste of money.

When combined with the above par Cuisinart food processor, this is the only tool that will make you a perfect Celeri Remoulade. Will also make great diced carrots, beets, and potato allumette. If you are a gourmet cook, this is a must have gadget. The Cuisinart will help you make the sauce as well.

This is a great addition to your Cuisinart food processor. Its a nice inbetween the slice and grate. It works very well when you dont want a small chop.

My two favorite recipes require yellow squash and zucchini to be shredded thinly, like noodles. I was spending half an hour with a mandolin. This blade worked wonderfully! Just as I had hoped! Now, half an hour turns into two minutes! My only complaint is that the shipping took a very long time, even for it to be shipped out. It may have been due to the holidays, but still seemed a bit long. I ordered on 12/30, and it wasn't mailed until 1/4. I just received it today, the 10th. I am thrilled, though, a great purchase!

I purchased this blade thinking it would work to cut french fries; there are nine people in our family and it is a big job to do that many by hand. It actually cut the potatoes into about the right size for hash browns. They need to make a disc that cuts bigger julienne strips.

I bought this for my son along with 6 other blades for his Cuisinart 7cup Food Processor as a birthday gift. I really can't give you a review because I don't use the machine. He hasn't complained about any of it not working as described so I assume it is good.
