Cuisinart DTC-975TC 12WSS 12 Cup Stainless Thermal Carafe

Cuisinart has designed the best 'keep it hot' carafe with
its nylon balls and ball bearing. Unfortunately, the coffee
pot is lacking as its brewing process is doesn't extract
the flavor of all the coffee, only the center. BEWARE -
if you buy the entire coffee maker, Amazon tries to sell
you filters, and that product doesn't use them.

I was forced to buy a new carafe when my hubby (I love him, but he's a clutz) managed to drop the carafe that came with my Cuisinart and completely broke the handle off. I was planning to buy an extra anyway, so that I'd have an extra to put on the table when we have the family over for holiday dinners, but I planned to have TWO with handles. Now I use the handled one, and when the holidays roll around again, I'll use the one without the handle to brew and the other one to serve. Having two, even when only 1 has a handle, works for me, no matter how unintentional it was!

Great service. We broke the original carafe and didn't want to buy an entire new coffee maker. This one matched perfectly, was in excellent condition and arrived quickly.

Did not notice until yesterday that the extra carafe I bought had a dent in it. I had not used it because I was waiting for a time that I had company.
