I bought this processor/blender combo this summer as I didn't have a food processor. It's a great starter if you don't do need a large capacity bowl and need to chop nuts and some veggies quickly. The blender works great for most applications: sauces, smoothies, some nut-based drinks/smoothies. For a starter, good start for the price.
