I've got a lot of Cuisinart appliances including their grind and brew coffee maker, a toaster, a coffee grinder, blender, and this grill pan. All of them are great, except this thing. It has a number of problems:
1. The sides interfere with cooking. it's hard to get a spatula in there without burning your wrist. 2. The heating stopped being even after a while. Now things on one side cook slower than the other. 3. The control nob isn't very precise (I have the same problem with my George Foreman grill). It is very hard to set a precise temperature. Bottom line, this isn't worth the money. Their other stuff is fine (I love my coffee maker and blender) but this isn't. Don't waste your money.

I don't understand how you advertised this product Cuisinart EGP-18 Electric Nonstick Grill Pan with a glass lid and when it arrived at my home the box immediately told me that the product did not come with the glass lid you advertised.
The product itself I rate excellent, but if you advertise the product as you did (includes a glass lid) then that is what should have been delivered...the main reason I ordered this product is because it came with a lid...

This grill pan is great. I use it when the weather outside is bad. I am very pleased with how hot it gets and how it grills chicken and steak.
