Bad pun aside, this kitchen appliance is a favorite, and has had a lot of use. Have found its five speeds to be quite adequate, and its 220-Watt motor to be up to the task. If you want more power and a greater range of speeds, there is the Cuisinart HM-70 Power Advantage 7-Speed Hand Mixer, which is also highly rated.
This handy (here we go again) appliance easily mixes even heavier ingredients than one might expect, and the one-touch slide control changes speeds easily. The supplied extra-long beaters (more on these in a moment) eject easily, and clean up quite well in a dishwasher, as should be expected.
Like larger stands mixers, there are a few (handy) accessories and implements available, such as the versatile CHM-WSK Chef's Whisk, great for making whipped cream, and the CHM-DH Set of 2 Dough Hooks. But of special note, must state that I also purchased an extra HTM-BTR-357 Beater Set.Read more ›

I like this mixer. It has plenty of power but it does have one flaw. It's lowest speed is way too fast.Published 6 hours ago by Tracy A. Paugh
Has worked great for me so far, I've had it for some 5 months or so.
The whipping wirey things - the things that revolve, are easy to clean. Read more
Strong motor, seems sturdy, but will not stand on it's own when resting on the counter, and low speed is , in reality, medium speed.Published 20 days ago by Porkentyre
Works great so far. Our old hand mixer just died after 12 1/2 years. It lasted so long and worked so well that we went with the same brand and similar model. Read morePublished 21 days ago by Laura Law
My mixer of over 40 years died and had to be replaced. (It was a Montgomery Wards one no less!) I read all the reviews and purchased this one in hopes it would be as good. Read morePublished 24 days ago by Makai F. Magie
Over the years I have had a few less expensive hand mixers, and didn't mind replacing them as needed. I decided to go to a higher price point. Read morePublished 25 days ago by M. Coletti
Works great so far. Has a good amount of power for the size, and cleans up easy.Published 1 month ago by Beamwalker
Nice light weight. I'm giving 4 stars because one of the beaters does not stay in the slot very well at all.Published 1 month ago by Joseph Halay
