Nice bowl, but didn't fit my ice cream maker
I purchased the Cuisinart 1 1/2 quart soft serve ice cream/yogurt maker from Amazon several weeks ago. Enjoyed it so much I ordered an additional freezer bowl- also for a Cuisinart 1 1/2 quart soft serve ice cream maker. Unfortunately I threw away the box it came in before I tried out the new bowl. This is a great freezer bowl for making soft serve! I bought an extra one because the key is that you just have to have it in the freezer for at least 24 hours to make sure it is totally frozen. It does not retain its coldness to make a second batch, and it isn't supposed to. It is fun being able to make soft serve ice cream at home.

I know this review is for the bowl, but the ice cream maker is fantastic. In fact so fantastic that I had to purchase another bowl so I didn't have to wait as long to make another batch.

The Ice cream maker is fun to use and we wanted to do more than one batch at a time as it only makes 1 1/2 quarts max so not much if having a gathering. Having a second bowl ready in the freezer will be great, and the Amazon price was well under what it was on the Cuisinart website! Welcome summer BBQs with homemade ice cream! Also works well making wine slush in such a short time.

The ice cream machine came with a freezer bowl, but because of the length of time it takes to freeze the bowl before you can make ice cream, I thought it would be nice to have an extra one. I keep both bowls in the freezer. It works great. My grandkids love it. We've made ice cream every weekend since I bought the ice cream machine.

Very efficient at making ice cream, but you make sure the ingredients are very cold before adding to the bowl. Warm ingredients will slow the freezing process or prevent it altogether. Excellent product, long warranty, but do read your instruction booklet to prevent disappointed kiddies and/ or adults
