5.0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Multiclad Pro 10" Nonstick SS Skillet
This is an excellent skillet that requires very low heat for cooking, and cleanup is a breeze. I have the regular cuisinart multiclad set, which is awesome, but I no longer use those skillets since purchasing this one. No more Barkeepers Friend and scouring required. It is off the stove, cool down and wash with dish soap and warm water. I have had no problem with bits of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart 8" non stick Skillet
This Amazon purchase was made to replace the exact same pan that in about 15 months of use, has the non-stick coating peeling off from the outer edges. Kind of disappointed that something that's supposed to have a lifetime warranty needs replacing so soon. Otherwise the pan (and the larger 10" skillet) are an excellent alternative to cooking in the Multiclad Pro...

I have had no problem with bits of teflon flaking off.

I would highly recommend this skillet to anyone looking.

I own the MCP 12 piece stainless steel, but wanted a decent non-stick skillet so I picked this up. It works great and has been the most used piece I own...
I do wish it would have come with a lid (or one was offered separately) but I found an inexpensive 12" all-purpose chef's classic that had a great glass semi-domed lid that I purchased and use the lid from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still looks new, June 26, 2008

This skillet still looks new use after use and it performs flawlessly. Nothing sticks to this thing and I love using it to scramble eggs and make pancakes. It requires very little heat and is super easy to clean. All you do is let it cool down, wash and dry. I wash mine by hand because I think good quality cookware will last longer and keep looking good if washed and dried thoroughly by hand. The handle stays cool and is riveted on, not those flimsy screws that can loosen up over time. Excellent quality and great size.I highly recommend this skillet.

This Amazon purchase was made to replace the exact same pan that in about 15 months of use, has the non-stick coating peeling off from the outer edges. Kind of disappointed that something that's supposed to have a lifetime warranty needs replacing so soon. Otherwise the pan (and the larger 10" skillet) are an excellent alternative to cooking in the Multiclad Pro stainless pans for things like eggs, or for things that you don't want to have stuck in the pan. There are more expensive, higher quality, non-stick pans out there, but for the money these Cuisinart Multiclad Pro non-stick skillets do a good job. Just make sure to register the purchase with Cuisinart..... like I just did.

We bought all 3 sizes of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro nonstick skillets about a year and a half ago, and absolutely love them. This isn't teflon - it's some sort of titanium coating developed for the space program. We use them every day, and there's no sign of flaking as usually happens with teflon. Although they don't come with lids, we also bought some of the casseroles, a dutch oven, and several sizes of saucepans, and the lids that came with those fit the skillets. The only thing missing from the line is a 1 quart saucepan. If anything ever does happen to the nonstick coating, we've been so satisfied that we'll just replace them.

I bought this pan about 8 months ago and have used it regularly. The pan still looks brand new (with the help of a little Bar Keeper's Friend every now and then). The entire multiclad pro line looks fantastic (I own the 12 piece stainless set), and this pan is no exception. The handles stay cool while cooking even at high temperatures. The non-stick surface still looks glossy and dark in color, unlike teflon, which changes with heat over time and tends to flake. This is by far the best non-stick skillet I have ever owned.

My only complaint is that there is no lid for this large pan. The smaller two skillets that I own work with lids that came in the 12 piece set, but I can't find one offered to work with a 12 inch skillet. I will probably buy something generic, just sort of a shame though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with MultiClad Pro, February 27, 2008

For 10 years I've used my 8 inch All-Clad non-stick fry pan every day and I've loved it. But non-stick coatings eventually wear out even with the best of care and my fry pan had reached the end of its life.

Based on the great reviews of Cuisinart's MultiClad Pro cookware, I purchased their 8 inch non-stick fry pan as a replacement. I have not been disappointed. The pan is solid and well-made and distributes heat evenly.

A bonus for me was the old lid from the All-Clad pan fits the new Cuisinart pan perfectly!

5.0 out of 5 stars great purchase, October 26, 2009

This review is from: Cuisinart MCP22-30HNS MultiClad Pro Nonstick Stainless-Steel 12-Inch Skillet (Kitchen)
hi i bought the cuisinart 12' muticlad non stick pan to replace a 12" food network non stick pan after only 6 months the food network pan was peeling and didn"t have anymore non stick properties left . the cuisinart pan has a quantimium finish which is very hard and you use less heat because it has an alunimun core sandwiches in between two stainless steel and the non stick coating .when you make pancakes it like the pan has ball bearings on it. nothing sticks just remember to let the pan cool completely and use liquid detergent to clean it. as for the outside of the pan i use barkeeper"s friend to keep it new looking. a excellent value for the money!

The MultiClad line by Cuisinart is simply good; no, very good. This skillet is no different. Heats both quickly and evenly, and is easy to handle on the stove. Will last many years, making the high cost pay off.
